Product Description
Traditionally, a computers soundcard alone is not up to the task of directly connecting turntables to record and transfer your audio with an acceptable level of quality. This is where a preamp like the XP203 comes into its own.
In the case of a record player, the output signal cannot be directly used by sound cards. It
cannot even connect to a line input device. A special preamp is required to strengthen the
record player's signal and convert it into a high-quality signal the sound card can use.
Without the preamp, signals would be extremely low, noisy and completely unusable.
